Product Design: BRC’s Advanced Engineering group (located in Pontiac MI) works closely with your engineering department during the very early stages of the development process to optimize both part design and material selection. The Application Engineering group (located in Churubusco IN) provides cradle to grave engineering support throughout the development and life of your project.

 

In-house CAD software capabilities include Unigraphics, SDRC/IDEAS, Catia, Pro/E, IGES, Parasolids, and AutoCad/ Mechanical Desktop.

 

Material Development: With our ISO/TS16949 Accredited Research & Development Laboratory, we further enhance our engineering capabilities by utilizing our industry leading technical expertise in material selection, development and  testing.  On-site testing includes:

           Environmental Chambers                        Durability & Life Cycle testing

             Static and Dynamic part testing              Material Fluid Resistance (hot & cold)              Torque-to-Rotate                                     Tensile & Elongation

             Water Spray & Leak                                 MTS dynamics

 

Prototype Capabilities: BRC offers its' customers full prototype support, production quality prototype parts, and the ability for "Rapid Prototyping” services on compressed lead time projects.

 

Production Tooling: BRC offers in house tool and fixture design capabilities.  In addition minor tool repairs and preventative maintenance is also completed in-house. Once the tool design is complete and approved by our customer it is the sourced to one of our industry leading tooling partners, based on quality, timing, and cost.
